Cheap Calls using localphone android app

Hey, its all about getting the cheapest rate when calling international. I have tried localphone.com and its sure easy to use and also cheap.

For Kenyan callers who are always sending me messages looking for the cheapest rate, it costs $.06 to call landline and $0.089 for the mobile phone, calling landline on Localphone seems to be among the cheapest at the moment compared to 7 cents charged by telephonekenya.com and other competitors.

Give them a try, they are cheap world wide

Google Voice Extendend through 2012

Great News from Google Voice Users...free calling in the USA and Canada has been extended through 2012.

This is great news for there have been rumors that beginning 2012 Google voice was going to charge for its use.

However, there are are reports that Google Voice customers who were transferred from Grand Central are unable to call Canadian numbers.

Africa Ready for Blackberry

After successful introduction of Blackberry in South Africa and Nigeria by MTN and Vodafone, Kenyan carriers i.e Safaricom and Celtel wants to give it a try. In this area where Phone's are the leading gadgets to sell, they will definitely have a great target market.

One of the selling point will be the ability to send and receive email from the phone. There might be other phones out there that can do that but will guarantee you that blackberry will be the choice of many. Nokia and Motorola have been controlling this market but with the international success blackberry has received, competition will not be that high. I don't even think that the carriers need to run all the promotions since the name will sell for its self.

So if your carrier is safaricom, then await the Blackberry 8100 or 8700.

With sub saharan countries being second to china when it comes to new cell phone sign ups, expect blackberry and other phone companies taking African market seriously. This is where the growth rate in terms of new customers has gone beyond most companies expectations.

Still interested on free voip calls? then check Yak4Ever, they are covering atleast 50 countries so far and its FREE to call, did i say its unlimited?, all you have to is register and within 24 hours they are giving you an access number here in the USA.

Most of the countries covered are in Europe, Asia and South America. Am yet to know of any free voip that can call Africa. If you know one let me know Siasa@kenyaonly.com
